An action plan was set-up that includes the definition of the research priorities we think are required in Lebanon, whether by industries (SMEs and academic) or the government. This focuses particularly on the role of information technology in addressing societal challenges in the fields of: health, transportation, energy, environment and how we link that to European priorities. The plan also includes the mapping and matching the areas of interest to both Lebanon and Europe, to be more specific in choosing a research area to work on and the understanding of the relational process between the TPs and the European partners in terms of collaboration and funding, to ensure a clearer and more productive roadmap for work.
