Get Ready for Horizon2020. The R&D cooperation between Jordan and EU has been increased during the last 10years. Different Memorandum of Agreements between Jordan and EU in the area of research has been signed, a number of joint projects and technical workshops have been organized, with involvement of Jordan and EU partners.
It is expected that the new EU FrameworkProgramme “Horizon 2020” will provide anumber of cooperation opportunities, inparticular in the field of ICT, for Jordan but also for other Mediterranean countries.The workshop is aimed to highlight the main features of HORIZON2020, and to suggest ways of how to take advantage of the possible cooperation opportunities in particular in ICT.
